(Living Letters to the Churches) by Bert Farias(Author)
There is a place in God where Satan dare not come. It is divine love (1 Corinthians 13).
The pinnacle of New Covenant life is this eternal love that shall never cease and never fail. It is the new and greatest commandment Jesus gave His Church that fulfills all the others. Grace has put that divine love in our hearts. The saints were aglow with this divine love when the Church began, and they shall be so again when Jesus returns.
There is also a place in God where Satan dare not stay. It is divine power (Mark 1:23-24).
Notice that the demon-possessed man in the synagogue did not cry out with a loud voice until Jesus got there. Those people sang their songs, said their prayers, read their scriptures, and the devil enjoyed it all. But when the power of God came on the scene, suddenly the devil became upset.
Why? Because religious ceremony is no threat to him. We can hold regular church services, and demons can sit right through them, undisturbed. But when the glory and power of God is manifested and the Spirit of God is moving, and divine love reigns, the devil can’t stand it.
The time has come for hell to be shaken and the glorious Church to awaken to divine love and divine power.
The devil knew who Jesus was. The devil knows who the glorious Church of Jesus Christ is. He is not threatened by flesh churches or traditional and religious institutions. They are not known in hell. “And the evil spirit answered and said, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?” (Acts 19:15)
